The weather! ... and flyability

You did - I saw the guy’s “behind the camera” pics of the setup.

It was taken in Iceland by Hörður Kristleifsson … nobody was in any danger.

To give some scale - and a better idea of distance - that rock is about 60m high.

Nope, pretty sure I didn’t

It’s the same with the bloody weather reporters on TV!

Who (producer maybe?) decided it would be a cracking idea to sent a weather reporter out in the middle of a storm to report on some insane weather event? They get soaked, we can’t hear them for the wind, just report on it from indoors?! :exploding_head:

At least these winds might clear our coastal views of wind-turbines.

… and tomorrow is supposed to far stronger than the winds that took that one out. Not that that one was on the coast … :stuck_out_tongue:

We have just been advised to close tomorrow by the government. All schools, colleges and early years (us) should close due to weather warnings. :raised_hands:t4:

More time to get out and set speed records! :+1:

Damn right :raised_hands:t4: :joy:

I’ll go to Berkshire … you say when you lob it in the air, and I’ll try and net it as if whistles by …

… just before it enters Heathrow FRZ!

They will probably all be grounded there anyway :joy: I know I wouldn’t like to be flying tomorrow

Although most schools are on half term - seems that Somerset are different.
