Thermal cows and deer

Screen recording of a bit of practice with the thermal.
Cows were in daylight then half light with the Fallow deer in total darkness.
The deer were spooked by nearby church bells starting off (made me jump as well LOL)

Hi Kevin - can I ask what drone you were using please ?? Very interested in thermal drones as I’d like to get one for the lost dog search and rescue flights I do. Any info or thoughts would be much appreciated :+1: :+1: :+1:

It’s a DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Advance that I also use for lost dogs SAR as well as security and wildlife survey etc.
Great bit of kit but sadly lacking in some settings that are available in other DJI drones. Never the less an asset when used for what it’s intended for.
Flying in the dark is a tad concerning but with plenty of practise in familiar areas I’m getting there.

Thanks for the info - thought it was by the resolution which appears to be very good - a good improvement over the M2 Enterprise Dual :+1: :+1: :+1:
Which app are you using to fly it ??

As @Straze says it’s a good bit of kit!

It’s missing settings like ISO therm (colouring things that are X temp etc) but honestly it’s ALMOST AS good as the Zenmuse XT and XT2 on a much more compact airframe!

I’ve stopped using the inspire and XT in lieu of the Enterprise Advanced.

It’s on the pilot app but it comes with a DJI Smart Controller which is nice.
