I don’t know what you used as an editor, but some have a stabiliser function that could pin that video absolutely stationary.

Does DVR do that? I’ve had the same dissatisfaction when shooting hyperlapses and could do with getting all the frames nicely aligned.

Oh yeah - it does. 
Has it in several places … and more than one method within each occurrence.
