I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission requirements unknown.

Nice spot - although quite busy at weekends, during early mornings and weekdays it’s not too hard to find a safe place to take off and land.

Close to RAF Halton

At the time there were no notices banning drones, and I did not seek permission (although I was very cereful where I flew from and chose a time when it wasn’t busy). I assume that the land belongs to the Canal and Waterways trust as the reservoirs feed the Grand Union Summit.
