Tripltek Tablet - Feedback from owners and general discussion

Thats a very good point, thanks! Been looking at an RC Pro, but these are even brighter and for less cash so got a decision to make.

Over the years of my droning I’ve purchased quite a few tablets - Samsung, Apple & others. All have struggled in sunshine rendering some unusable! The Tripltec 9Pro has ended all my woes and, as stated, the screen doesn’t dim during use.

Expensive but worth it for me.

I actually don’t mind the RC 1 and 2 screens especially after many years of bad experiences with Samsung and iPads tablets expensive phones that i finally doing a lot of research and it’s not always expensive devices actually will be better as I ended up with a nexus 7 2013 model and it was brighter then the apple ipads, then I moved onto a dedicated phone just used for my drone when I changed to mini 2 and air 2s to fit in a RC n1 as my Samsung phones were awful another search and found a cheap Samsung note 8 and once again a fantastic choice as again great 1240nits, with excellent contrast, it has been mentioned that tablets and phones they only peak at that there max nits for short while but I never noticed it with my Samsung note 8 as I uninstalled all apps except DJI fly and spoofing/FCC apps and the reason people say devices drop is system settings set to reduce screen brightness to conserve battery this is the reason for devices going dim, so if anyone is using a phone or tablet go out and see the difference turning off these settings.

Reviving this 4 year old topic… I bought a second-hand Tripltek several months ago for use with my Mini 2 but was stumped without a mount. I had seen the Minimal Mount but was put off by the cost.

Surely, I could do something similar? Well, yes I could:

A 24mm wide x 1.2mm thick metal strip from ScrewFix, cut to a suitable length and folded around the tablet’s rear brackets results in something very similar to the Minimal Mount although not as elegant.

Hi @SoFar.SoGood, it looks as though you’re quite new here :wave:t2:

Why not nip over to the Introductions page, and say hello properly and tell us a bit about yourself. :+1:t2:

I had the official mounts 3d printed … but tbh I’ve hardly used it..
