Taken from the Daily Post who report that the near miss was reported by the drone operator.
A drone was in a near miss incident with two low-flying RAF planes in the skies over Gwynedd - triggering an Airprox investigation.
The drone was being operated in an area to the north east of Bala shortly before midday on March 3. It was flying at a GPS altitude of 1,174ft and was 328ft above the raised terrain below it.
The drone pilot was operating with an observer who informed them about the Texans over Bala.

I have been around The Snowdonia area and witnessed a plane fly below the level of the road I was on. I was able to look down into the cockpit of the plane as it passed skimming over the water of lake Ogwen (I think that’s the name just near llanberris ) it probably took about 15 second for him to get to the end of the lake and banking turned right and up in the air.

On the subject of low flying aeroplanes.
We were sat on the decking of our static caravan, at lunchtime, when this RAF Airbus A400M Atlas did a low level flyby, as part of the Armed Forces Day celebrations on the East Lincolnshire Coast today.
You’ll be able to appreciate how low it was, in the photo below, I’ve marked the top of a regular street lamp post, to give it perspective.

I was once at the Dartmouth Regatta when the Red Arrows put on a display. Half an hour later, a Hercules came down the river, below mast top height.
Not unusual to see them flying along Windermere, amazing sight from the Fell Foot / Lakeside end.
