I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at [Drone Scene](https://dronescene.co.uk/where-to-fly-drone/umberslade-obelisk/west-midlands/4346): > **[Umberslade Obelisk, Stratford-on-Avon](https://dronescene.co.uk/where-to-fly-drone/umberslade-obelisk/west-midlands/4346)** > > This location has been recommended to fly your drone in the Monuments category in the West Midlands region. Visible from the M40 northbound. Flying from the shown TOAL point provides good views of the M40 in both directions as well as countryside. Parked & took off from the section of Nuthurst Rd that overpasses the M40, the obelisk is visible & provides good VLOS for flying ![8acf38de-f645-4eb1-916f-96576bd6b5e1_dji_fly_20](https://d1q8cepst0v8xp.cloudfront.net/original/3X/4/c/4c8ed44f989acc7b4483999977114f830d6c5225.jpeg) _The originator declared that this location was **not** inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 16/09/2025. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location. Landowner permission may be required before taking off._ ---
