@marc4760 hi I was just there last weekend I did the northern spire bridge and penshaw monument but when I went to the viaduct I walked up the wrong side of the river couldn’t take off for the trees …planning a return trip and also plan to fly at the viaduct on Derwent walk it’s just outside Newcastle airport restriction zone
yeah if you get the right side of the river there are some amazing views. all taken from the same spot on my Mini 2

No doesn’t look right I thought it was the bend in the river upstream from the viaduct but that looks like a pond
