Hi all. I have bought a Runcam 5 action camera. I really like it as it’s fairly small and light and cheapish (£80).
The trouble is, I am clueless on video settings. The pictures show the settings I have. But I am unsure of what I should use. The basic things like saturation, exposure, metering mode etc are foreign words to me.
I have took a video of distant objects and up close objects. (The slight wobble is just my tuning and propwash). It is best viewed in 4k.
Does anyone have a few spare minutes to give me a guide on video settings for dummies please? I’m particularly interested about light to dark and vice versa transistions.
I think @dancarpy has/had a runcam - tagging him in…
And did @callum ever get one for the Disco in the end?

Not had a runcam box. I’ve got a session 5 and a hero 8.
@notveryprettyboy Ive got a mate with the runcam though. Pretty good for the price! I’ll ask him what settings he uses.

Cheers man
Lower the res from 4K@30. Better to do more frames at 2.7k imho…
