I am after a small action camera to mount on a toothpick FPV drone.

  • Caddx Peanut
  • Runcam 5
  • insta360 go 2 maybe 1.
    Prefer to avoid RunCam Thumb FPV, as would like to avoid soldering.

Budget £50 to top end £100.

Its sunk cost fallacy as I when analogue FPV. Only a matter of time before I buy a Digital Goggles and go full digital. Never going to learn. But full digital is looking at £1,000 - with summer holiday bill looming.

Yes, yes, Digital HD Zero or DJI is the way to go… but you can say I told you so after I used an action camera for a while.

I have a couple of these I don’t use, why you want to avoid soldering a 5v cable to the FC? Not that complicated TBH, and if you’re getting into the hobby… I believe @Steviegeek might have a decent solder station still available.

I have a very good solder station already. I just have poor fine control and crap eyes. Also if I wire it in I can’t remove it.

However £50 Inc postage?

Nothing wrong with HDZERO if you race / need low latency

Sorry… Yes… HDZero the best… @bmsleight want a VRX, 2 Foxeer Cams, and a 200mw and 1w VTX? Excellent stuff, I’ve only flown it once too :wink:
