Resin anchors very strong for porous materials
MMM resin anchors - didn’t think of that but yes that would be a great application here.

As @Gham Graham said - my guess would be resin anchors - probably the strongest method of fixing provided you follow the installation procedure correctly. Cleaning your hole is very important - ooo er missus
I have used resin anchor bolts and they are fantastic, very good near an end brick as there is no chance of external pressure which can split brick due to pressure exerted with plugs and the like.
