Where to fly in South Yorkshire?

I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask but I have a long weekend this weekend and I’m wondering if anyone can suggest some scenic locations (weather permitting) for a novice flyer. I’m in South Yorkshire but willing to travel by car and foot.
