It was a lovely evening, hardly any wind. Beautiful area, Turton, Belmont and Rivington all within easy distance.
I want to fly here, does anyone have any tips or advice they can share?
I’ve thought about flying there, does the tv mast interfere with your signal? I was across the valley, Sunnyhurst woods yesterday evening but weather crap, at a wedding & thought I might be able to grab a quick flight at Turton twr, alas no.

Considering the amount of time I’ve spent there over the years , whilst working in Bolton, I’ve not seen or heard of that, funny when you think you know a place and really you don’t.

Zoom out a couple of notches, there’s some great places to explore on that mountain
