Freshly edited my flight from the end of summer. The footage was pretty poor, I took way to many shots going back and forth over the runway. So I added some music and filters to try make it more engaging…
Would love to know what you guys think.

Superb video, love the way the scenes changed to the drum beat. Excellent editing and looks like a really interesting place to visit. I’m gonna have to google to find out about the airfield, it’s history and that round structure…
Thanks for the encouraging feedback guys! The round structure had NATS signposts near it so I assume it’s some type of radar thingie…
I really enjoyed flying there and will go back again soon!
Round structure is a VOR ground station for vhf aircraft positioning.

I was hoping to film something similar at the disused Stretton airfield near Warrington, but it’s been taken over by a very wealthy chap who is busy building an underground bunker for his collection of expensive cars. Shame!
