Im just in the process of upgrading the iMac to an ssd as the editing is really slow and hopefully will fix the problem just backing everything up as me and the wife also use it for our businesses so don’t want to ruin things or my bits will be chopped off 
what did you use to edit if you don’t mind me asking?
