…At the time I was a deck cadet, at the helm qualifying for my ‘steering certificate’. Just passing Circular Quay about to pass under Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Great ship, great crew 😎 Unusally in the tanker trade, when we got alongside the tank farm was full to capacity so we had a nine day holiday tied up alongside whilst they made space for us to discharge cargo. Spent some wonderful days sunning myself on Manly Beach 😂
