You can drive right up to either side of the River (although driving from one side to the other is about 16-18 miles!!) and parking is free. TOAL is likewise easy from either side from the road or from one of the park benches.
There used to be a hand-drawn ferry that crossed here, from around 1760 until 1979 when the last Ferryman retired aged 88!
At 400ft on a clear day you can see most of the Lough from this point.
The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 13/07/2022. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.
