Brunswick Gardens & Square - Added to Everything Else in London

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission requirements unknown.

Short autumn evening flight over Brunswick Square. Take of and landing from Brunswick Gardens.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 04/12/2022. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

Nice and smooth :+1: :+1:

I assume the pilot holds an A2CofC or GVC? Were clearances sort & given to fly in this location (EGR160)?

He wasn’t flying a helicopter …

This area EGR160 THE SPECIFIED AREA is definately OK the restriction only applies to helicopters. I researched this fully before flying. There is a full expanation at What is the Specified Area within London?.

Annoyingly DJI have marked it as a restricted zone so you have to apply to unlock areas within EGR160 with them. The process is automatic and only takes a few minutes without any need to provide them with any permissions. I have unlocked pretty much the whole area for the next 12 months (the maximum period)

Interesting… I’ll give that a try when I’m next heading up to London.
