I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:
Land owner permission not required.
Large open area with views of Ardrossan coastline and the old ardrossan castle and monuments.
Castle is fenced off and only some trees around the castle to watch out for. Caution when operating above the railway line at the bottom of the hill.
Can be busy with families due to the play park next to the castle. Not recommended when windy as no protection for the coastal wind.
The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 24/02/2024. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.
