Cloburn Quarry Co. Ltd is just off the A73 Lanark to Biggar road in South Lanarkshire. It is one of Europe's leading red stone quarries. Parking is very limited on the A73 but there are several narrow single track farm and forest roads with laybys around the area where a drone can be launched. Once in the air, the quarry is so big you can't miss it. I took off from Grange Road which is just to the north of the quarry,
The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 09/08/2022. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.
