Lowestoft Third Crossing

Scheduled for official opening at some point this year.

We’ve only been talking about it for almost 100 years. Will give the south side residents the opportunity to get to Great Yarmouth twenty minutes quicker but apart from that I can’t see the point anymore.

The only other one of this design is in New Zealand apparently.

Looks like a pair of shelf brackets that have been put on upside down.

The shelf usually goes on the top of the bracket for future reference :joy:

there must be a counterbalance weight on the other side and then I guess it would use little force (or a lot less ) than without one of equal weight on the other end of the brackets
