Manchester Central Library - Added to Historic Buildings in North West

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission not required.

There are a few interesting buildings around here (Town Hall, Midland Hotel etc), but the Central Library is the most photogenic.

I've flown a drone here from two different places: once from the steps of the Quaker building, and once while standing within St Peter's Square.

I strongly recommend flying when it's relatively quiet, to avoid being interrupted.

Depending on your drone, you may get a warning about the Manchester city centre flight restriction area: this relates to the prison, and it is not relevant to flying a drone here.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 25/12/2022. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.
