St Peter's Church, Coniston Cold. - Added to Places of Worship in Yorkshire and the Humber

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission requirements unknown.

The parish church of St Peter at Coniston Cold is a Grade II listed church built in 1846, and attributed to George Webster of Kendal. It has a nave made up of four bays, and a west tower with short octagonal stone spire. The interior is very simple, containing a 3-decker pulpit. There is a small organ gallery under the tower. The church is within the parish of Gargrave.

Parking is outside the church entrance on Carseylands Hill.
TOAL is on the road side by the church entrance.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 26/12/2022. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

Brilliant skies in the background as well

@ThorTDL
Could see the black clouds coming and started raining as I got the shot, didn’t realise the rainbow was there too until viewing pics.

@Kings perfectly timed I’d say in that case. Love the fact you got the sun still from behind the drone as well, perfectly captured it all :+1:
