600 social housing homes gone in an era of a housing emergency - people were desperate to get into these flats a few year years ago.

Yeah, sad to see them go. My Mrs Aunt lived in 120 thats why I went there, so she could see the view one last time cause she lived 22 up.
Hopefully they replace them quickly but that never happens
If they were going to be replaced like for like that’d be bearable - but we’re instead seeing gentrification and creeping homelessness.
Sadly, most of the new properties will be for sale. This was once a jewel in the crown of public sector housing!
Worse so many wont even sell! Theres a block in watford that has been left as a shell just huge concrete eyesore all platforms and pillars mothballed because they cant sell the flats in the block theyve finished
