17th Century Highland Village - Highland Folk Museum - Added to Historic Buildings in Scotland

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission not required.

The Highland Folk Museum is an amazing living history site on the edge of Newtonmore, which consists of an early 20th Century area and an amazing 17th Century Village, based on many ruins spread across the Highlands. Footage is a mix of drone, camera stills and phone video.

Drone flight approval can be gained by applying in advance of your visit, which we were not aware of, hence the use of some phone footage and a short bit of drone footage from an away Take off and Landing (TOAL) - which was flown according to the CAA Drone Code.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 23/10/2022. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.
