£31 DJI credit burning a hole in my pocket

So I have £31 credit at the DJI store and I’m thinking about how I want to spend it.

I’m debating whether to get the ND filter set (16/64/256) or to pick up a bunch of extra propellers.

I’ve been flying for about 2 months with a Mini 3 and am obviously a bit inexperienced. I’ve had 2 crashes (only blade damage) so far both completely due to me being silly. Also, I generally enjoy taking videos more than photos.

Part of me is wondering about what to prioritise going into winter. Is it better to have more back up blades or be prepared for a bright snowy, sunny day?

Also, would I be better off not going with the DJI set and getting something with more options from someone like Neewer?

Neewer has a set of 6 filters but it only goes up to 128. They also have a set of 12 which includes a 256, 1000 and a few weird filters (for a lot more money).

Just wondering if anyone with more experience or knowledge could weigh in. Thanks!

Is there an expiry date on it @jbrun85 ?

Do to you need to spend it now? You might want to put it towards an extra battery or a new drone next year?

But then you’ll still have £31 of DJI credit burning a hole in your pocket?

No expiry and I could hold on to it for down the line… But what fun is that? :joy: I’m in a spending mood!

Realistically there is no way I’m buying another drone next year, this was already a bit of a stretch in my spending money. The Mini 3 covers most everything I want, so I’m thinking I just want to make the most of what I have.

I also already have the fly more combo + RC controller. I find that the 3 batteries are more than sufficient for me.

Sounds like the propellers are winning then

I used my credit for spare props - not used the spares that came with the new drone yet but like you I just wanted to use the credit. ND filters not much use to me - live in Wales so they are less likely to be used than the spare props I’ve not used yet :man_shrugging: :joy: :joy:
