:rage: Hang on, there’s only a couple of wine bottles in there. Mostly it’s pesto and pasta sauces.

The drone is fine as I did a test flight after this. The Insta360 came away with a cracked screen. :man_facepalming:

Oh no hopefully repairable

Luckily the lenses are fine. Both the screen and touch functions still work which is good as I’m off to Rome in two weeks.

I’ll send it off for the screen glass to be repaired when I get back.

Insta360 repair process below.

It will need to be shipped to their TCC centre in Hong Kong, which costs about £28. The cost for repair depends on which lens is damaged (front or back), but roughly £100. It takes about 2 weeks in total.

This is a good site which explains the repair process …

Lenses are fine so I’ve ordered screen protectors from Amazon that are arriving today. Just to protect my delicate hands from shards of glass while I’m away.

Is it really worth the repair.

If it’s working and still controllable from the app ?

Screen protector might do the job

It’s more to make it waterproof for my next pool holiday. The screen protector will tide me over until then.

Mavic 3 with a Samsung Gear 60. I picked the Gear 360 up for about forty quid as I didn’t want to risk the Insta 360. Worked out quite well for the money so I’ll try with the X3 sometime. It does highlight how much the drone moves about which you don’t see with the footage from the drone camera, shows how well the gimbals work.

Hi @briwy I’ve edited your post to include the OneBox preview.

To do this just paste the YouTube link into a new line on its own with no spaces etc.

No need to use the insert hyperlink button in the message composer or any embed code, its all done automatically for you if you follow the above.

Grab a Samsung Gear 360 used. Pocket money priced with standard camera mount thread on the bottom. Obviously not a super hi resolution option but at 1080 still viewable. Easy to use to. I used to take the camera gimble off my Phantom 3 and fly by sight with one underneath. Some great views if you ignore the legs of the drone lol! Looking on CEX they have one for £25 so not the end of world to try…
