3D Scan of a birdtable with Neo

So the DJI Neo has a cool little quite shot function for photography where it can take a photo every 2 or 3 seconds - it makes it perfect for this soft of 3d scanning

Was it an manual path around the table? also how many picture did you take, and did it take long to process sorry for all the question

Yeah I did a manual orbit going from as low as I could go without the drone wanting to land and then just going up and up and up - took around 150 photos and dumped the into the Poly cam site - it used around 85 of the images - I then just cropped out the rest of the garden from the bird table.

I have done this twice now and I still cant seem to get the detail on the feeder pole / holder for some reason. Maybe I need to just be closer to that point.

The coconuts hold more bird food without a hole in the bottom ..

(yeah - realise it’s only lacking suitable overhead images)

yeah it seems I do need to maybe fly over it a few times too - I did point the gimbal down a bit and thought flying up and around would do enough to cover it but nope in this case
