Ive just recently bought this 4DRC F3 GPS Drone from Amazon, i was flying in the house and it got caught in the curtain, before i could stop it one of the four blades stopped turning, ive tried it again but this one still wont turn, can someone help as i cant find anyone to look at it, i live in Bolton
Hi @Wesmc , it looks as though you’re quite new here
Why not nip over to the Introductions page, and say hello properly and tell us a bit about yourself.
How much was it from Amazon and how long ago did you buy it?
Bought last week, paid ÂŁ150 but unable to use it now, thought ide try in door first but obviously got that wrong
The greatest thing about Amazon is the returns
You will have problems repairing it and getting spare parts
That sort of Drone is not worth wasting your money on, save up and get a DJI
One here for you
If the motor is burnt out you’ll never find the fault, I agree with just returning it for replacement or as Sparky says a little upgrade. Amazon is good for returns, send it back in the box looking good and they will never question it.
Im sending it back, will get a better one, any recommendations please
Look up
My first dip into the drone pool was with a £30 4DRC2 a tiny little toy but fun, smashed into walls and doors hit the ceiling a few times just couldn’t get it to trim out and when I broke props I couldn’t get replacements so that went back in the box. Next up was a DJI Mavic Mini 1 loved the difference and great fun, then I had a test fly of a DJI Mini 3 Pro for a day, yep bought one of them too. Once you get into this hobby and start meeting other enthusiasts you’ll love it and be as crazy as the rest of us.
I bought one off the late night shopping channel. It was not a great buy, we have about 4 or 5 of the things. Myself and @FoleyMrs have a fleet of the things. I think all in all I have about 10 drones 5 DJI and 5 other ones. I tried it in the house and I did not know what RTH was but when I pressed it the thing came flying down the room towards my sister and I just had to put my hand up. After cutting my finger it then hit my face and opened up my nose. Outside the trims were a waste of time. Off it goes and off I go chasing it. The cheaper ones are not great.
Dji Mini 2, Dji Mini 3 pro. We love them both and sub 250 so it makes them a great choice.
Russ @Foley, you do know there’s a badge for having 5 or more drones right?
Just post a pic of them all.
Does it matter what type they are as we have a collection of all sorts of stuff here. My mistake but prior to DJI I did buy a lot of crap thinking… well one of them has to be decent. I blame late night crap tv and the problem with having a drone on the shopping channel whilst channel hopping. We were hopping channels and went past the channel and saw “DRONE” and came back. So I ordered one and so not to be left out I then click +1. Two drones turn up and two drones want to do their own thing. So then ANOTHER model another day is shown and I get two more. So now we have two not very good drones.
Then I think there was another time where we got some, then a friend bought me a little thing thinking I have a craze over it so I got that. Then we had little heli’s and then a dji mini 2, then came the DJI mini 3, then the DJI Mavic 3 then the platinum, and then a 2nd dji mini 3.
So my advice to anyone… Do not watch late night shopping TV, it is not good for you… well your wallet anyway.
Photo coming ( along with other photos in other forums promised)
Nope any drone
Oh in that case. We have about 10 here ha ha
