Sir Walter Scott monument; high Victorian Gothic. You can go inside and on to a viewing platform at the top, and Sir Walter’s tomb is in a room half-way up it, which you can look into from windows in a gallery around it. The room is decorated in high Victorian Gothic style and looks super-creepy; you sort of expect the lid to open and Dracula to emerge. Mwah ha ha ha haa!
