Captured on the walk back from Rhosydd Slate Quarry, the penultimate flight of the day, some fun skimming and surfing the ridges of Moel Yr Hydd.
Sheer fun to fly, and something I would like to do again, I just need to find some impressive ridges to fly the drone along…

There’s the Snowden Horseshoe if you’re down in wales. Or if you want something a little less energetic you could catch the train up and get off at clogwyn station. And follow the track down to join the Llanberis path.
Or if you want something really spectacular there’s always the Cuilin Ridge.

Yeah, Snowdon is in my sights, but I aint fit enough yet - working on that - and the NT ow a lot of the area, with their ‘restrictions’..
The Cuilins is well beyond us atm - plus a looong way from here… I will see what else we can find to fly, both in North Wales and on our forthcoming Highlands holiday to Strathpfeffer for a week at the end of June…
There’s always the train option, it does go through some pretty spectacular scenery. Just give it time to get well out of the way from cloggy station.
The Cuilin, I was pulling your leg, it really isn’t a walk.
