Great photos. If I’m right Phang Nga Bay is where “James Bond island” is located. Was there 20 years ago. Great opportunity for some stunning drone photos. Very brave to fly over water.
Thanks, and you are correct in that is where James Bond Island is, but they do not allow drones near the Island. You can only fly a drone in the open water and Panyee Island.
Did you have any issues at Customs in Thailand ? I have heard that they can be quite demanding with the rules and regs ??
Hi, Sorry for the late reply. I had no issues at all with with any of the airports: Heathrow, Bangkok, and Phuket. I mentioned that I had drones and batteries in the backpack, but they were all only interested in me having the laptop and powerbank (for my phone) and getting these out of the bag. I had all my Thai drone registration documents, batteries drained and in Lipo bags, and not one person even asked to see any of it for the 17 days that I was there.
