This will most definitely not be to everyones tastes, but I like quite contrasty, gothicy images. A small church not far from me and edited using silver efex

Used to do it the hard way - push processed Tri-X in Neofin and hard grade paper 
Making a mobile phone photo contrasty is dead easy by comparison!

Don’t get me started, I miss my darkroom and smelly chemicals. I detest digital processing but alas swmbo won’t let me set up my darkroom in the new house, bitch
