I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission requirements unknown.

Aberystwyth sea front looks wonderful in the sun, and last week it wasn't too windy either. Parking is possible anywhere in town, even on the sea front or promenade, and access to the town is possible by rail as well. The foreshore requires no permission, but I stood by the bandstand perimeter with a good view of the bay at this quieter time of the day. If it's a hot day and you require refreshment, the nearby PD's Diner is a good pit stop.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 16/08/2023. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

Well done, Howard, well captured. Aberystwyth is such a lovely part of Wales. The last time I was there was 2008, need to go back. Very laid back atmosphere and views to die for. Nice to the coastline of Wales at 2:58. Nice edit and thanks :+1:

@Howard we recently created a new feature which allows you to add Parking or Take Off And Landing markers to any location.

If you’ve got a few minutes spare could you add them to this location by clicking here please? :smiley:

I added the TOAL point mentioned in the description above. There are lots of parking places in Aber, I’m sure, but I was with friends who lived locally.
