Actually put a little effort into a video

Thanks for all that info.

I fly XPlane 11. I also have Microsoft Flight Simulator but my preferred sim is XPlane. I fly online in a virtual aviation world called VATSIM where people log in as controllers or pilots. The controllers control the air traffic using all the real-world rules and terminology. As a real-world commercial pilot it is as real as it gets while keeping your feet on the ground IMO. It isn’t a world for kids or childish behavior… you are required to behave as if you are a real pilot or controller. It is very challenging and immersive.

I fly for a virtual airline - British Airways Virtual (BAV). We fly the real-world routes and schedules using the models of aircraft that the real airline uses. That adds a an even great layer of realism. If you are interested in learning to fly but cannot for any reason this is actually a pretty good alternative.
