Hi,
I moved to Dundee last week. I am drone pilot for 9 years and ı want to fly my drone in Dundee. I scoured the forum but ı couldnt find any forbidden about Dundee. People just gives you this advise" you can use foreshore" I am wondering if ı want to fly, Is there a somewhere to get permission?
Thanks,
Murat
Hi @marakatsi, it looks as though you’re quite new here
Why not nip over to the Introductions page, and say hello properly and tell us a bit about yourself.

Hi @marakatsi and welcome to GADC. Check out our very own Drone Scene for flight restrictions and a ton of other info - https://dronescene.co.uk/
You will see from the image below that a fair chunk of Dundee is in the local airport’s FRZ.

Thank you, got it. So there is no other place to get permission
It all depends on where you take off and land from (TOAL). You can apply for permission to fly in an FRZ, I’ve done it several times for jobs I was doing. You may, for example be on private property and will need permission or if on public land check for local bylaws etc. Do a search on here there are lots of threads on all of this. If you’ve got a spare few hours read the ones on flying on/over/near NTS or Historic Scotland properties
