I have recently noticed that on the Drone Assist map that a large square area of Dorset and South Somerset is now coloured yellow. It says ‘Area of increased risk AIAA YEOVILTON’. Can I still fly? Is this temporary or permanent thing?
It’s in relation to night flying ops and it’s an increased risk of encountering aircraft. It’s a warning more than of a restriction. If you intend to fly at night just be mindful.
