OK so bought a refurb air 3 registered to my DJI account ,no worries. BUT after I had done the flight tutorial that it asks you to do ,and first flight, great I thought NO FLIGHT limit to 50 mts all ready to go.
Get to Cornwall and go to take off , and back to 50 mtr flight restriction saying not logged in . WTF ! no phone signal here , so that was the end of that. Thank goodness i had my trusty MP 2 . So question is , what went wrong , never had problem like this with MP2 . any thoughts here to help me out? I have also just treated myself to brand new mini pro 4 combo , hope i do not have this issue with that as well.

Check it again when you have a data connection, the DJI fly app will auto-logout after 1 month of inactivity

BTW can I auto save my login pw on the controller , so that all I have to do is find a phone signal and login if happens again ? cheers

I don’t think you can, I can’t on a mobile phone
Just try to remember to run the app every now and then, you can do this on any device, like your phone 
As long as one device is seen active every 28 days all devices will stay logged in
