Just had my first experience of phoning ATC for permission to fly.
Warton were brilliant. No problem we are shut then so fill your boots.
Blackpool were good too, once they realised I was just giving a courtesy call as I will be flying outside their FRZ they just asked for a call when I take off and land.
Painless really.
