Hi Stephen,

I’ve examined your DJI Air 2S and I can report the following damage:

-The camera/gimbal is damaged beyond repair and has to be repaired.
-The middle frame/main chassis of the drone has structural damages.
-The forward and upward vision sensors seem to be impact damaged.
-The rear right motor is seized.
-The front right motor sounds rough on rotation.

Attached is a quote for repairs.

We have just run out of stock of some of the parts required for your repair. These parts are on order with DJI, however their lead times can vary so there may be a delay of 1-3 weeks.

All quotes include a full calibration and update of the drone to the latest firmware.

Please click the relevant button to proceed. Alternatively, please feel free to ask any questions you may have about what has been quoted and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Regards,

Alexandros

I have the Air Fly More combo (RC2) and a carry case (Startrc) plus some extra bits like filters and a printed and bound copy of the manual…
I bought it in Sept 2023, and as far as I can remember I only flew it a couple of times, apart from some test flights. Once was a pano of our village, and the other time, a few shots and a night time hyperlapse.
Once I got the Mavic Pro 3 cine in the following November (2023) I’ve not used the Air 3.

Do you have a price in mind?

William

Ok just a couple of scratches then… I see what you mean :grimacing: you could sell for spares though ??? worth a go…

Was all that done at Chesterfield the other month ???..

No, I repaird that damage, this was done at Humber Bridge

Any footage of the fatality ???

It’s on the drone storage but I couldn’t get it off, will try again today when it gets back to me.

So - which is it? Beyond repair or repairable.

Interestingly I gave them my GADC membership number but no mention of discount on either the repair cost or the diagnostic/returns invoice

Query that with Drone Doctor please @Steviegeek
