Ok, me too
Then it’s not worth the paper it’s written on and would make a claim invalid
Exactly my point Wayne
Just cancelled my FPVUK auto renew and was asked why i was going and straight away they offered 20% discount on next membership.
Still cancelled however. Now just got to find how to sign up to this malarkey
The link is at the bottom of the first post.
what does this mean
If you wish to upgrade you must cancel an existing subscriptions first, otherwise it will still be renewed on your next billing cycle. Cancel an existing subscription?
I clicked the “cancel subscription” link, logged in and cancelled the auto renew then proceed to purchase the new insured subscription, saves you being billed for two subscriptions next year as all in one now.
Those links are private to you - within the payment module.
Rich/@PingSpike may be able to advise.
A nice addition if possible maybe would be a membership card ( at our cost / our choice of course ) or is that asking to much, was just a thought .
The membership card dude is going on holiday tomorrow , watch this space
AFAIK … it’s just cancelling your existing membership auto-renewal so that you can replace it with the new one.
That sounds about right. I didnt have auto renew selected (like Deano I like to renew everything manually) and when I upgraded it took me straight through to sign up for the upgraded ‘Insured Member’ tier
Man… Who keeps signing off all this annual leave for you and @SparkyFPV !!?
@OzoneVibe Dave,
All done AND you get a ‘stificate’
I have insurance that covers loss, theft, flyaways etc for my drone and ground equipment and it includes public liability insurance. If I want to keep my equipment covered then I don’t see the point in taking the Insured Membership unless you are going to start offering equipment cover, is that something coming down the pipeline?
No plans for that Phil @SkyJumper
As we said, this isn’t for everyone
As usual, we’d only ever recommend the rather fabulous Drone Cover Club for that level of cover (GADC members get a discount there too!)
I currently use CoverDrone, I found them cheaper for the same level of cover and very helpful when you contact them on the phone, I have not yet had to make a claim so not sure how good they are at that. I will have another look at Drone Cover Club though.
Upgraded and insured.
Just in time as my fpv uk cover expired in a fortnight.
Thanks for making things easier again and adding even more value to an already awesome club
The membership appears at full price do I need a code to get the reduced rate???
