If I’m able to get some practice hours in, with the Cinewhoop, before the Blackpool meet, I may try that.

However I still need to sort (solder) the power plug.

Sort of. :thinking:

I’ve desoldered the two parts, now I’ve got to solder the new plug in place.

Didn’t get time last weekend to do that, however the weather this weekend is forecast to be :poop:, so I’ll get it sorted, hopefully :crossed_fingers:t2:.

have been looking at places near by to camp but being easter crazy prices , what time do you tend to be at feetwood and is there any height restrictions on parking ? just weighing up my options at the moment stay local and tow a small car with me

Sorry @AndyGriffith for the delay. there is a restriction where we normally park up at fleetwood it’s 2m.

Normally we get to fleetwoofmd for 9/9.30.

Hi I live not too far from Blackpool and phoned Blackpool ATC to fly in Lytham on the green. They advised me to apply by there portal to fly there, it is outside there air space and it can take up to 72hs to approve. Will we be contacting Blackpool ATC.

As the meet up is by the tower it is outside their zone, and we dont go as far south as central pier we don’t contact them.
Also the pleasure flights don’t tend to start until we have left.
Regarding your application. If you are going to be flying outside their area I would not apply! I would simply phone on the day, explain it is just a courtsey call as you are flying close to their ATZ, possibly would contact Warton as well.

Thanks for that. Will phone them both, Blackpool ATZ were quit incistant! But I will phone next time I fly there.
