Over the past couple of years we have had a meet up at Blackpool tower during the Easter weekend.
So once again I am proposing another.
Obviously it will be weather dependant, but normally we meet around the 6-7am mark so people can get shots of sunrise and the tower.
Once we have taken our shots and the rifraf general public start to emerge, again we head up to fleetwood where we can have another fly and possibly partake in a spot of breakfast.
I have checked the tide time for that day and the tide will be well on it’s way out by the time we meet. Which means north pier will be quite flyable for fpv without an excessive risk for drones going swimming
I am proposing the Friday which then leaves the rest of the weekend for family activities. But i will put this poll up to test the waters. Each day will be an early start for sunrise which has a golden hour of 06.53ish so meet at 06.30 ish.
I would have thought most (or all), before the days of the inter web I bought an annual print table for uk waters, it also contained chart updates & corrections. My sailing club as local tidal data for the year & a weather station.
Ooh, sorry I stand corrected. It seems you have to purchase tide tables if you want long range predictions. Last few years I’ve bought the Laver tide tables from local shop, but usually lose it as it’s tiny and look up online. Hadn’t noticed they were restricted so much as only wanted for a few days ahead.
