Anwoth Old Kirk and the old schoolhouse across the way are locations used in the classic British Folk-Horror film The Wicker Man (1973). Here is a flying visit as we passed the area returning from a holiday in Scotland - video is from a Mini 2 drone, still photos are from a smart phone camera. Slightly tongue-in-cheek OTT production, with a twist in the middle … enjoy!

Thanks! Yes, I look forward to seeing the restoration; I watched the ‘Final Cut’ (on Amazon £3.49) the other night. Great film moving away from the old Hammer approach to scaring us. I first saw it on a double bill in 1973 with Don’t Look Now
