Any advice before flying a DJI Mavic Air 2S?

Well …purchase my 2en drone yesterday. the Air2s
Go with my original Mavic Air. I know that a lots of stuff on here with the drone plus plenty of advice on YouTube … so any advice please from members on here that I need to do before my first flight ! :thinking: important info that I probably need… I also have the smart controller … but won’t use yet . Want to get use with the DJI Go app first …

Congrats on your new purchase its a great drone :clap:t2: But just so you know you can’t fly it with the DJI Go App you will need to use the newer DJI Fly App :+1:t2:

The air 2s is a completely different drone to the air.

Just do all the usual pre-flight checks you do with the air. You’ll be fine and you will love it.

If you purchased the Air 2S with the smart controller it will already be paired to the DJI fly app on the smart controller as has already been said the Air 2S is not compatible with the GO app. You can put an SD card in to the Aircraft and smart controller and have it record on the smart controller as it records on the aircraft, this can then be transferred to you mobile devices. I would recommend using a U-3 card for all aircraft that record in 4K anything less, and you may suffer stuttering on the recording as cards less than U-3 can not write fast enough, thus stuttering occurs. The Air 2S is a very capable aircraft,
