I’m wondering how bright these are - LEDs for the end of fishing rods - and how far away they’d be visible if fixed to a drone at night ( I suspect not far enough to be useful )
Designed for beach casting, so should be plainly visibile at what?, 50m or so? Possibly distinguishable for more, but you lose a lot of brightness with coloured leds. I would imagine probably too heavy to use with sub-250g regulations. Good battery life, though!
Not sure how you’d mount them to the drone; fishing rods are a lot smaller than drone legs at the tip end.
Get yourself some Strobon CREE’s … and if you’re a GADC member there used to be a discount. Either way, they aren’t expensive but boy do they make a drone visible. Even on a grey sky background.

Cut as much of the plastic off that’s not needed as possible by modding them, small thin light cable tie(ties) maybe

Hmmm, more and more intriguing. My Macbook is also throwing SSL errors. But it isn’t my WiFi (Eero… yes, I know) as if I disable Malwarebytes I get through, and that’s a Windoze only app.
Only other common denominator is my ISP and even with my VPN enabled to bypass them I’m still getting SSL errors.
But, main point, discount still available and Strobon Crees are the dogs danglies for visibility and weight.
