Looking to find a stitching system for our computers for the Mini 2.
My understanding is that the quality on the phone is not so good.
And a much better option is to use raw and stitch them, apparently.
PTGui has been recommended - not cheap, but is this the best option to be able to post to Facebook and websites etc.
Without a doubt, discontinued but you should be able to find a copy if you look around.
Not sure about that to be honest, straight from the M2 and uploaded to Kuula…

Thanks, Am I correct in saying that it is different on the M2 to the Air2?
The Mini 2 doesn’t process 360s in the same way?
So you have to do it via the app rather than just download the image from the sd card?
The M2 processes the panoramas in the Fly app, they are not Hi Res (4096*2048 2.1MB) as in my Kuula above.
The M2P stitches the pano on board the drone for a hi-res image, not sure how the MA2 does it, but its either or.
Mine above is what it did in the app, downloaded to the iMac and uploaded to Kuula, the option of course is to take the series of images jpg or dng and stitch them yourself.
Lightroom and Photoshop will also stitch for you, or for a quick try have a look at DJI media maker, it does quite a reasonable job with no input needed
Hey Ian I believe the MA2 stitches the images on board the same as the M2P.
Chris if the MM2 stitches the images in the Fly App does that mean the device you’re running the Fly App on could affect the final image quality depending on processing power of the device? Or would that only affect the speed that it processes the final image?
