Keep an eye on meetups - maybe join group south-east. The meetups that I’m arranging are all near or on the coast in the Portsmouth area. One hour down the A3 from Tolworth Towers. 75 minutes from Putney. (outside of rush hours!)

Awesome, I am on the Limehouse Cut near Westferry/Limehouse.
Grain Fort just off the Isle of Grain in Kent. I’ve been three times now and a great location. You could even slip in the abandoned and decaying German U-Boat just down from there as well.
