Hi there, I’m Mike and as you can probably guess…I live in Plymouth, Devon. I have just got a new mini 4 Pro drone and now have my Flyer and Operator I.D’s sorted out. I’m just wondering if there are any members in my local area that would like to meet up and go out for a flying session somewhere. I have transport, and am willing to pick up anyone that fancies coming along. Meanwhile, I am going to concentrate on getting more ‘stick-time’ in, and learning to fly the drone, hopefull, to the high standard that I used to fly my RC model aircraft in the past. I have flown the drone lately and was surprised how smooth, quiet and responsive the machine is…and am looking forward to an improvement in the weather so as to get out and practice. I am retired, but am quite fit for my age and I love to get out and about into the great outdoors. Hi there, Neildrone…thanks for responding to my post. Maybe sometime we can meet up and have a jolly with our drones and have a great time. What with the weather at the moment…it doesn’t seem feasable at the moment…but at least we have each other in the loop as it were…and I look forward to a possible meet up in the near future.
