I’ve just returned from a couple of days in Ireland and managed to get the Mini 2 up in the air while I was there. I’d have loved to have got a nice pano of the JFK Arboretum near New Ross in Wexford but it’s in the red zone for Waterford airport. It wasn’t a big loss as I got flying in some other nice locations.
Barrow View - the B&B near the River Barrow in Co. Kilkenny, where we stayed.
Borris Viaduct - Co. Carlow (just across the river from the B&B)
Our Lady’s Island, Co. Wexford (legal to fly here, though maybe not politically correct as the island is a place of pilgrimage and contemplation?)
Hook Head, Co. Wexford - no drones allowed in the grounds of the lighthouse itself, but no restriction on the approach road.
